Occupational Therapist for Neuro Rehab

This role offers a focus on neurological diagnoses and working collaboratively with patients.
Join the Community Accessible Rehabilitation team to support adult clients through various neuro rehab practices. As an Occupational Therapist I, you'll engage in treatments for stroke recovery, brain injuries, and other neurological conditions. You will participate in triage, assessments, and rehabilitation planning while collaborating with an interdisciplinary healthcare team.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver evidence-informed occupational therapy services
• Conduct screenings and assessments for diverse clients
• Collaborate with clients and families for goal setting
• Participate in interprofessional quality improvement initiatives
• Provide clinical supervision to Therapy Assistants
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
• Minimum one year of relevant OT experience
• Registered with Alberta College of Occupational Therapists (ACOT)
• Current BLS certification
• Practicum in neuro rehab for new graduates considered
