Therapy Aide at Carewest

This temporary full-time role at Colonel Belcher offers diverse responsibilities under close supervision. You’ll assist residents with daily tasks, instruct craft classes, and facilitate social events and exercises. To thrive in this position, you will need compassion, strong relational skills, and a commitment to delivering quality care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADL)

• Instruct craft classes to encourage engagement

• Facilitate group exercises and social events

• Optimize functional abilities of clients

• Complete any related duties as required

Requirements:

• Graduation from Grade 12

• Current Basic Life Support Provider CPR certification

• PCA or leisure activities certification preferred

• Experience in a hospital or continuing care setting

• Geriatric care experience is an asset
