Kinesiologist Job in Calgary, AB – Seto

Momentum Health is hiring for a full-time Kinesiologist job in Calgary, AB, at our Seton location, and we’re looking for someone who brings positive energy, strong communication, and a genuine interest in collaborative healthcare. You’ll work alongside physiotherapists, chiropractors, massage therapists, athletic therapists, and other healthcare professionals while helping patients progress through evidence-informed therapeutic exercise and rehabilitation programs. With opportunities to learn hands‑on techniques, assist with physiotherapy assessments, and build relationships across a multidisciplinary team, this role offers meaningful experience for someone building a career in Kinesiology or preparing for further healthcare education.

At Momentum Health and Evidence Sport & Spine, we believe patients benefit when healthcare professionals work together. Our Seton clinic includes several exam rooms as well as a dedicated gym and rehabilitation area, with a large referral base from family medicine and allied health professionals throughout Calgary. You’ll be part of a team delivering collaborative care across Physiotherapy, Chiropractic, Massage Therapy, Kinesiology, Athletic Therapy, Physiatry, and Sport Medicine.

Your work will include prescribing, applying, supervising, and educating patients through therapeutic exercise programs involving range of motion, stretching, proprioception, coordination, balance, and strengthening. You’ll also assist with physiotherapy assessments and re‑evaluations and learn several hands‑on treatment techniques, along with the application and removal of treatment modalities. The clinic offers innovative programs including GLA:

D Back, GLA:

D Hip & Knee, Shoulder, and Concussion Programs, giving you exposure to a broad range of patient care approaches.

More than 31 Kinesiologists have been accepted into programs after working with Momentum Health over the years. You’ll also have opportunities to network with physiotherapists, chiropractors, naturopathic doctors, registered massage therapists, and other professionals in the field.

We’re looking for someone who is self‑motivated, professional, friendly, and committed to an excellent patient experience. You’ll need to be flexible with your schedule and able to commit to at least a one‑year term. Compensation:

  • $18.00–$20.00 per hour
  • Full‑time positio
  • Tuesday to Friday 7am‑1pm
  • Saturday 8am‑2pm
  • Must be flexible with schedule.

Qualifications:

  • Degree in Kinesiology
  • Excellent knowledge of anatomy and physiology
  • Previous volunteer or work experience in a Physiotherapy or Multidisciplinary clinic is an asset
  • Must be able to commit to at least a one‑year term

Responsibilities:

  • Prescribe, apply, supervise, and educate patients on therapeutic exercise programs, including AROM, PROM, stretching, proprioception, coordination, balance, and strengthening
  • Assist with Physiotherapy assessments and re‑evaluations
  • Learn and administer hands‑on treatment techniques including basic trigger point release, MRT, Instrumented Soft Tissue Release, friction massage, and hold‑relax stretching
  • Apply and remove modalities including heat, ice, ultrasound, TENS, IFC, micro‑current, and muscle stimulatio
  • Assist with clinic upkeep, including laundry, cleaning patient beds, filling ultrasound gel, and cleaning machines and tools
  • Greet patients and help ensure they have a comfortable experience in the clinic
  • Build professional connections with other healthcare professionals in the clinic
