Health Care Attendant at Riverwalk

Become a vital part of the Riverwalk Retirement Residence team as a Health Care Attendant. This role focuses on enhancing the well-being of seniors by providing essential support and care.

We are looking for dedicated Health Care Attendants to join our team. You will deliver personalized care, promote comfort, and ensure safety for our residents under the direction of the Health & Wellness Manager. The ideal candidate will have a background in health care and the ability to work collaboratively in a nurturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Adhere to continuous quality improvement standards

• Collaborate on care plans based on residents' needs

• Provide cognitive and emotional support to residents

• Assist with daily living activities, respecting residents' choices

• Monitor vital signs and document health changes

Requirements:

• Grade 12 education and Health Care Aide certification

• Certified in Emergency First Aid and CPR

• Previous experience with seniors preferred

• Strong communication skills in English

• Ability to work independently and in teams
