Kinesiologist Job in Calgary, AB

Momentum Health and Evidence Sport & Spine is hiring for a Kinesiologist job in Calgary, AB, at our National Spine & Wellness location in Sunalta, southwest Calgary. This multidisciplinary clinic brings together Physiotherapists, Chiropractors, and Massage Therapists under one roof, with private treatment rooms, a full gym area, and an open rehab space built for hands-on, collaborative care. We're looking for a full-time Kinesiologist who can commit to at least a one-year term and who wants to build real clinical skills alongside a team that treats exceptional patient service and continued growth as daily practice, not just talking points.

Whether you're planning a long-term career in Kinesiology or using this role as a stepping stone toward Physiotherapy, Chiropractic, or another healthcare profession, you'll find a team here that's genuinely invested in where you're headed next.

A Clinic Built for Learning

Momentum Health has placed more than 200 professional students over the past decade, and many have come back to work here as Physiotherapists, Chiropractors, and Kinesiologists. In this role specifically, more than 31 Kinesiologists have gone on to be accepted into further healthcare programs while working with us, whether that path led to Physiotherapy, Chiropractic, or elsewhere. You'll assist with Physiotherapy assessments and re-evaluations, apply modalities like heat, ice, ultrasound, TENS, IFC, and micro-current, and learn hands-on techniques including basic trigger point release, MRT, Instrumented Soft Tissue Release, friction massage, and hold-relax stretching directly from the clinicians you work beside.

It's the kind of day-to-day exposure that’s hard to get anywhere else this early in a career.

Room to Do the Work That Matters

Our administrative team handles patient intake so clinicians can stay focused on the people in front of them, and you'll have the freedom to prescribe, apply, and supervise therapeutic exercise programs, from AROM and PROM to stretching, proprioception, coordination, balance, and strengthening, based on what each patient actually needs. You'll also be the first friendly face many patients see, so making them feel comfortable matters as much as the clinical work itself, and you'll pitch in on the everyday upkeep that keeps a clinic running smoothly, from prepping treatment beds to restocking ultrasound gel.

Outside the treatment rooms, our team volunteers together at community events, and we keep an open-door policy for anyone with ideas on how to improve patient care. You'll also have the chance to build relationships with Physiotherapists, Chiropractors, Physiatrists, and Sport Medicine physicians working in the same building, the kind of network that tends to matter later in your career.

Compensation:

  • $18-$20 per hour (CAD)

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Kinesiology
  • Excellent knowledge of anatomy and physiology
  • Previous volunteer or work experience in a Physiotherapy or multidisciplinary clinic is an asset

Responsibilities:

  • Prescribe, apply, supervise, and educate patients on Therapeutic Exercise Programs, including AROM, PROM, stretching, proprioception, coordination, balance, and strengthening
  • Assist with Physiotherapy assessments and re-evaluations
  • Learn and administer hands-on treatment techniques, including basic trigger point release, MRT, Instrumented Soft Tissue Release, friction massage, and hold-relax stretching
  • Apply and remove modalities, including heat, ice, ultrasound, TENS, IFC, micro-current, and muscle stimulatio
  • Assist with clinic upkeep, such as laundry, cleaning patient beds, filling ultrasound gel, and cleaning machines and tools
  • Greet patients and ensure they have a comfortable experience in the clinic
  • etwork with other professionals in the field, including Physiotherapists, Chiropractors, Naturopathic Doctors, and Registered Massage Therapists

Skills:

  • Positive energy and passion for contributing to a collaborative work environment
  • Exceptional communication with patients and team members
  • Commitment to an excellent patient experience
  • Strong work ethic and self-motivatio
  • Professional and friendly demeanor

Benefits:

  • Medical benefits after 90 days of employment
  • Educational opportunities
  • Two annual organizational events and many individual clinic events
  • Fun and engaging work environment

If you're looking for a place to sharpen your clinical skills while working alongside Physiotherapists, Chiropractors, and Massage Therapists who actually have time to mentor you, we'd love to hear from you. Our track record speaks for itself: dozens of Kinesiologists have started here and gone on to Physiotherapy and Chiropractic programs, and we're proud to be part of that path.

We're ready to welcome someone who's ready to commit to at least a year of real, hands-on growth. The full job description and Quick Apply for this Kinesiologist opening in Calgary, AB are below. It takes less than 60 seconds - no account required!
