Shepherd’s Care Health Care Aide

Become an integral part of our team at Shepherd’s Care Foundation as a Health Care Aide, making a real difference in the lives of residents. This temporary part-time position focuses on delivering resident-centered care.

As a Health Care Aide, you'll join our dedicated clinical team, assisting residents with their daily activities and advocating for their needs. This role is excellent for those passionate about improving the quality of life for seniors, with responsibilities spanning personal assistance, mobility support, and meal service. Effective communication and customer service skills are essential to thrive in this environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Aid residents in grooming, bathing, and hygiene tasks

• Assist with meal delivery and mobility transfers

• Provide respectful advocacy for seniors

• Implement safe, effective care strategies

• Collaborate with clinical staff to enhance care

Requirements:

• Must be registered with CLHA, Alberta

• Strong English speaking, reading, writing

• Excellent interpersonal skills

• Committed to compassionate care

• Must pass a Vulnerable Sector Check
