The Health Care Aide (HCA) role involves supporting clients in daily living activities, observing their health needs, and reporting changes to nursing staff. You will assist with hygiene, nutrition, and mobility while engaging with patients, families, and caregivers across care settings. Key Responsibilities:
• Assist clients with daily activities and personal care
• Support patients' nutrition, hygiene, and mobility needs
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals for care plans
• Observe and report patients' moods and well-being
• Ensure a safe environment for patients and staff
Requirements:
• Active registration or permit with CLHA as a Health Care Aide
• Completion of Health Care Aide Certificate within 18 months
• Strong communication and observational skills
• Experience in acute care preferred
• Ability to work evenings and weekends
