Recreation Manager with AgeCare

This full-time role involves assessing the needs, preferences, and interests of residents to design tailored recreational activities. As a key leader, you will work closely with the interdisciplinary care team to ensure programs promote cognitive stimulation, social engagement, and physical activity. You will oversee department operations, including scheduling and budgeting, while also inspiring and coaching staff to meet departmental objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess resident needs to shape engaging recreation programs

• Design, implement, and evaluate tailored recreational strategies

• Lead therapeutic interventions promoting resident participation

• Collaborate in resident care planning and satisfaction monitoring

• Manage operations including scheduling and budget oversight

Requirements:

• Completion of a Recreation Therapy program

• 3+ years experience in recreation therapy

• Familiarity with electronic documentation systems

• Strong leadership and teamwork skills

• Current Vulnerable Sector Check
