Radiation Therapist Full-Time Position

Reporting to the Radiation Therapy Manager, you will deliver prescribed radiation therapies while working closely with a multidisciplinary team. Your duties will include utilizing state-of-the-art oncology equipment and supporting patients before, during, and after their treatments. This position requires an ability to educate patients on their treatment plans and address potential side effects, ensuring they receive comprehensive care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver safe and accurate radiation treatment courses

• Document treatment plans meticulously and track patient responses

• Maintain complete records for all patient interactions

• Educate patients about therapy and manage side effect expectations

• Refer patients to additional professionals as appropriate

Requirements:

• Completion of an accredited Radiation Therapy program

• Registration eligibility with the Alberta College

• Active or eligible CAMRT membership

• Capability for physical tasks involving lifting

• Basic Life Support certification
