As a part-time Health Care Aide, you will work closely with a Licensed Practical Nurse to deliver comprehensive care. This includes assisting with personal hygiene, meal support, mobility, and participation in activities. You'll also help with basic medical treatments and contribute to a friendly environment where residents feel valued.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide personalized washing and bathing for residents

• Assist with safe mobility and transfers using mechanical aids

• Feed residents according to their nutritional plans

• Carry out routine care tasks under nurse oversight

• Facilitate resident attendance at social activities

Requirements:

• Minimum one year of experience in a caregiving role

• Certified as a Personal Care Aide (PCA/HCA)

• Active registration with the College of Licensed Practical Nurses

• Fluent in English for effective communication

• Post-secondary qualifications are a plus
