You will report directly to the Director of Care, working within an interdisciplinary team dedicated to comprehensive resident care. Your responsibilities include assessment, planning, implementation, and documentation of individualized therapy services tailored to each resident's needs. Promote safety, independence, and dignity in all interactions.
Key Responsibilities:
• Evaluate resident needs for mobility and rehabilitation devices
• Supervise and plan rehabilitation exercises and programs
• Educate team members on safe resident handling
• Maintain strict confidentiality and adherence to health regulations
• Conduct necessary assessments accurately and timely
Requirements:
• Graduation from an accredited occupational therapy program
• Registered with the Canadian Association of Occupational Therapists
• Experience in applying mobility and therapeutic techniques
• Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on cooperation
• Flexibility in scheduling and shift management
