Temporary Mental Health Therapist at Mosaic PCN

Contribute to community mental health support as a Temporary Full-Time Mental Health Therapist with Mosaic Primary Care Network in Calgary. Provide psychosocial assessments and therapeutic interventions to individuals in need.

This role is for a dedicated Mental Health Therapist working closely within a multidisciplinary team. You'll conduct psychosocial assessments, develop treatment plans, and deliver brief counselling services tailored to individual needs. Collaboration with health professionals and participation in community engagement are key aspects of this position.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform comprehensive psychosocial assessments and screenings

• Deliver evidence-based therapies and support

• Facilitate psycho-educational groups for mental health

• Stay engaged in quality improvement initiatives

• Document patient interactions accurately in EMR

Requirements:

• Master’s degree in Psychology, Counselling, or Social Work

• Registration with Alberta Psychologists or Social Workers

• Experience with diverse and vulnerable populations

• Strong clinical competencies in assessments

• Minimum 3 years in psychosocial interventions preferred
