FMC is seeking a qualified Speech Language Pathologist II to join their Allied Health department. Your expertise will allow you to provide essential assessments, interventions, and case management to patients with complex communication needs. You will work closely with a dedicated SLP team, gaining hands-on experience and guidance in a fast-paced, supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver speech-language assessments and therapy interventions
• Coordinate rehabilitation services with healthcare professionals
• Supervise students and guide staff during patient care
• Engage in ongoing quality improvements for speech pathology programs
• Collaborate to develop individualized treatment plans for patients
Requirements:
• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Active registration with the Alberta College of Speech Language Pathologists
• Recent urban hospital experience as a Speech Language Pathologist
• Current Basic Life Support Level C CPR certification
• Familiarity with neurological communication treatments preferred
