As a Health Care Aide at The Brenda Strafford Foundation, you will play a crucial part in a multi-disciplinary team. Your primary goal will be to assist residents in daily living while ensuring their comfort and safety. Engage in resident care, adapting to their unique needs, and reporting critical changes to nursing staff.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide direct care and support for daily living activities
• Observe and report changes in residents' conditions
• Participate in developing personalized care plans
• Document care and behaviors accurately in the POC system
• Promote a safe and healthy environment for residents
Requirements:
• Graduate of an approved Health Care Aide program
• Registered with the Alberta Health Care Aide Directory
• Experience in geriatric or long-term care preferred
• Strong communication and time management skills
• Commitment to professionalism and confidentiality
