Join a dedicated team at South Health Campus as a Pediatric Occupational Therapist I. Focus on integrating developmental support for children in a collaborative environment.
In this role, you will provide essential therapeutic services for infants and children within the General Pediatric Clinic. As an OT I, you'll engage with families and various health professionals to create effective care strategies. Organizational skills and the ability to supervise Therapy Assistants are key for success in this position.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assess and treat developmental and feeding challenges
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary therapy team
• Supervise and mentor Therapy Assistants
• Engage families in the rehabilitation process
• Design individual interventions for client success
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
• Registered with Alberta College of Occupational Therapists
• 2+ years of relevant experience
• Basic Cardiac Life Support certification
• Expertise in pediatric developmental conditions
