Addiction Treatment Support Staff

Become a key player in mental health recovery at EHN Canada in Calgary, Alberta. This part-time Addiction Treatment Support Staff role centers around engaging activities and patient monitoring.

At Sandstone Recovery Center, you will support youths aged 12-24 in a community-based setting. You are responsible for leading meal support and creative therapy groups while ensuring the safe environment of the facility. Collaboration with multi-disciplinary teams is essential, along with logging significant patient interactions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure patient activities align with treatment guidelines

• Facilitate meal support groups for recovery assistance

• Conduct art groups to encourage therapeutic expression

• Lead weekend support sessions under clinical supervision

• Document key occurrences and patient progress during shifts

Requirements:

• Completion of Grade 12 or equivalent education

• Education in mental health or addictions is an asset

• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written

• Clear Criminal Records Check for working with vulnerable adults

• Valid government  identity verification
