Provide compassionate therapy as a Physio Therapist at Age Care Shawnee in Calgary. Focus on residents’ well-being, independence, and rehabilitation in a supportive environment.
Age Care is looking for a dedicated Physio Therapist for part-time or full-time roles in long-term care. Your primary responsibilities include assessing residents, creating individualized care plans, and facilitating their goals for better health. Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team to maintain a consistent care program tailored to each resident’s needs.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assess and reassess residents for rehabilitation needs
• Develop and document personalized treatment plans
• Communicate with team members for consistent care
• Maintain residents' statistics and documentation
• Ensure safe working conditions and proper equipment usage
Requirements:
• Graduate from an approved Canadian Physio Therapy program
• Active member of the Alberta College of Physio Therapists
• AADL Authorizer status preferred
• Experience with MDS and/or RAI is a plus
• Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
