Position: Pharmacist for Specialty Pharmacy CareRx
Elevate patient care with Care Rx as a licensed Pharmacist in long-term specialty pharmacy services. Guide medication distribution and ensure safety for seniors in diverse community settings.

In this role, you'll supervise Pharmacy Assistants and Technicians, ensuring efficient product delivery and compliance with local laws. You will evaluate prescriptions for safety and legality, manage third-party adjudications, and oversee drug compounding processes. Your compassionate approach and professional expertise will be crucial in promoting the health of over 96,000 residents.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage verbal Rx orders while adhering to regulations

• Evaluate prescription appropriateness for patient safety

• Conduct third-party adjudications for prescriptions

• Supervise non-sterile compounding and medication distribution

• Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information

Requirements:

• Current Licensed Pharmacist in Alberta

• Proficient in KROLL Pharmacy software

• Supervisory experience preferred

• Strong interpersonal skills for patient interaction

• Comfortable leading and guiding team members
