General Internal Medicine Physician Assistant

This role as a full-time Physician Assistant is an exciting opportunity in the General Internal Medicine department. You will work under physician supervision, managing patient assessments and contributing to treatment plans. Engaging with patients and families, your role will facilitate understanding of care paths and ensure thorough medical follow-ups.

Key Responsibilities:

• Document patient histories and findings accurately

• Execute treatment strategies with supervision

• Educate patients about their conditions and care

• Manage transitions for admissions and discharges effectively

• Prepare patients for various medical procedures

Requirements:

• Open to Canadian citizens and permanent residents

• Graduation from a recognized Canadian PA program

• Ability to register with the CPSA

• Recent acute care facility experience preferred

• Commitment to professional licensure maintenance
