Become an integral part of the health care team at Age Care as a Health Care Aide. Provide essential resident care under the supervision of a Licensed Practical Nurse, ensuring their safety and comfort every day.

In your role as a Health Care Aide, you will assist residents with a variety of personal care tasks and support their mobility and well-being. Your duties will include bathing, transferring, and feeding residents while adhering to care plans. This position is vital in ensuring that residents receive the necessary support for a vibrant quality of life.

Key Responsibilities:

• Bathe and shower residents safely and comfortably

• Assist in resident transfers using proper equipment

• Feed and support residents during meal times

• Provide routine treatments as directed by nursing staff

• Support residents during recreational and social activities

Requirements:

• One year of experience in continuing care preferred

• Must have a recognized Personal Care Aide Certificate

• Active registration with Alberta health authorities

• Proficient in English communication

• Post-secondary education is an asset
