Position: Health Care Aide at AgeCare
Become a Health Care Aide with Age Care, delivering dedicated resident care in a supportive environment. Collaborate with the care team to enhance personal comfort and well-being.

This full-time, temporary role involves providing comprehensive services under the supervision of a Licensed Practical Nurse. Key responsibilities include assisting residents with bathing, feeding, and transfers, while adhering to safety protocols.

Your role is pivotal in ensuring that each resident receives the tailored care outlined in their care plans, contributing to their overall quality of life.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist residents with bathing and personal hygiene

• Transfer residents using appropriate equipment

• Feed and support residents during meal times

• Provide routine treatments and follow care plans

• Accompany residents to recreational activities

Requirements:

• One year of experience in a care setting preferred

• Completion of a PCA/HCA Certificate Course

• Active registration with Alberta care authorities

• Strong English communication skills

• Passion for resident well-being and dignity
