Join CFASA as an Occupational Therapist and support Autistic individuals and their families. Deliver effective, neurodiversity-focused therapy in versatile settings including homes and communities.
In this full-time role, you will develop individualized supports to enhance activities of daily living and motor skills for Autistic individuals. Collaborate closely with an interdisciplinary team and utilize evidence-informed practices to empower families. The position includes a flexible Monday to Friday schedule with the potential for evening work, allowing you to accommodate the needs of families.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver expertise as a member of a multidisciplinary team
• Select and conduct necessary assessments for diagnostics
• Implement person-directed practices in naturalistic settings
• Build capacity through evidence-based coaching models
• Create and manage inclusive program documentation
Requirements:
• Alberta College of Occupational Therapists registration
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong decision-making and time management abilities
• Valid driver's license with reliable transport
• Current professional liability insurance and checks
