Position: Health Care Aide Role at AHS Zone
Join Alberta Health Services as a Health Care Aide at Foothills Medical Centre in Calgary. Deliver essential support to patients and enhance their daily living experiences.

As a Health Care Aide, you will be part of a dynamic team providing acute patient care in a busy medical unit. Collaboratively working with healthcare professionals, your role includes assisting with daily living activities, monitoring patient health, and supporting a safe environment. You'll interact closely with patients and families, ensuring their needs are met according to the care plan.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist patients with daily living activities and routines

• Support nurses in providing essential patient care

• Observe, record, and report changes in patient conditions

• Ensure a clean and safe environment for all

• Facilitate engaging activities for patient participation

Requirements:

• Active registration or eligibility with CLHA required

• Health Care Aide Certificate completion within 18 months

• Relevant experience in acute care settings preferred

• Knowledge of care for cognitively impaired older adults

• Non-Violent Crisis Intervention training current
