Empower seniors at Age Care as an Occupational Therapy Aide. This role focuses on supporting residents' health through effective communication and compassionate care in long-term care settings.
As an Occupational Therapy Aide, you will play a key role in assisting residents and therapists in assessments, planning, and implementing treatment plans. Your contributions will ensure that residents lead fulfilling lives through supportive therapeutic interventions. Experience in gerontology and a strong commitment to quality care are essential for this impactful position.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist in the assessment and evaluation of resident needs
• Support occupational therapists in developing treatment plans
• Facilitate resident engagement in therapeutic programs
• Document resident progress and treatment efficacy
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams on resident care
Requirements:
• Baccalaureate degree in Occupational Therapy or diploma in Rehabilitation Therapy
• Good standing with regulatory board and associations
• Minimum two years of clinical experience in geriatric care
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively
