Help shape recovery journeys at Scarborough Health Network as an Occupational Therapist Assistant. This role involves implementing therapy techniques and supporting diverse patient needs in a temporary part-time capacity.
As an Occupational Therapist Assistant, you will work under the guidance of a skilled Physiotherapist or Occupational Therapist. Your responsibilities will include providing support in rehabilitation, demonstrating excellent interpersonal skills, and fostering an inclusive healthcare environment. You will be part of a dedicated team focused on enhancing patient care and comfort.
Key Responsibilities:
• Aid in the execution of prescribed therapy duties
• Maintain documentation of patient interactions
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for optimal care
• Ensure a clean and safe environment for treatment
• Contribute to patient education and support
Requirements:
• Graduate of an accredited Assistant program
• Understanding of rehabilitation practices and anatomy
• Current CPR certification
• Proven teamwork and communication skills
• Good physical condition to meet job requirements
