Recreation Therapy Aide at SE Health

SE Health is seeking motivated individuals for the Recreation Therapy Aide position. In this role, you will implement individualized programs, assess resident needs, and promote a therapeutic environment. You'll collaborate with Recreation Therapists, contributing to residents' quality of life through recreational activities tailored to their preferences and abilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess residents and report relevant information

• Plan and implement individualized activity programs

• Facilitate leisure experiences per intervention plans

• Lead programs with safety and risk management

• Document resident progress and program data

Requirements:

• Certificate in Recreation Therapy or Health Care Aide

• 1-3 years' experience with seniors

• Updated immunization and criminal checks

• Valid Class 4 driver’s license

• Strong communication and documentation skills
