The Calgary Drop-In Centre is seeking a Primary Care Paramedic to join the Urban Response team for casual support. This position plays a crucial role in providing person-centered healthcare to individuals facing barriers, including addiction and homelessness. You will support health assessments, care plans, and follow-up services to enhance client wellbeing.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver skilled primary care paramedic services
• Conduct comprehensive health assessments for clients
• Maintain accurate documentation in organizational databases
• Support frontline operations and health education
• Foster a welcoming, culturally responsive environment
Requirements:
• Completion of an accredited Primary Care Paramedic program
• Registration with the Alberta College of Paramedics
• Valid Professional Liability Insurance
• Current CPR certification or willingness to obtain
• Understanding of Trauma Informed Care
