SE Health is looking for a dedicated Recreation Therapy Aide to join our Millrise facility. As part of a diverse healthcare team, you will carry out essential assessments, contribute to program planning, and oversee execution of therapeutic activities designed to improve residents’ well-being and engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
• Regularly assess resident needs and document findings
• Facilitate and adapt group therapy programs
• Ensure safety and efficiency during activities
• Guide and mentor volunteers and students
• Collaborate with families to support resident goals
Requirements:
• Recreation Therapy or Health Care Aide diploma
• 1-3 years of experience with elderly populations
• Class 4 driver’s license and current checks
• Valid CPR and First Aid certifications
• Effective communication skills, adaptable to changes
