Position: Calgary Vehicle Equipment Technician I
Become a Vehicle Equipment Supply Service Technician I with Emergency Health Services in Calgary. Focus on fleet maintenance and ensure medical equipment is operational and compliant with standards.

As a VESST, you will engage in fleet vehicle maintenance, inspect and repair medical equipment, and manage inventory to support emergency services. This role also includes assisting with patient care and will require you to handle physical demands typical in emergency environments. Connect with vendors and ensure all equipment is properly prepared

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain and inspect vehicles and medical supplies

• Repair power cots and suction units as required

• Ensure equipment meets health and safety regulations

• Coordinate vehicle logistics with external vendors

• Provide support during emergency medical incidents

Requirements:

• Certification from an Alberta Paramedics program

• Registration with Alberta College of Paramedics

• BCLS-HCP certification mandatory

• Class 4 Alberta Driver's License required

• Experience in fleet management systems appreciated
