This internship involves working closely with the Pharmacy Manager, assisting in pharmacy operations and delivering excellent service to customers. Responsibilities include accurately filling prescriptions and managing inventory, all while adhering to Alberta's pharmaceutical standards. Your commitment to quality care will contribute significantly to the team.
Key Responsibilities:
• Help in the preparation and filling of prescriptions
• Engage positively with customers to enhance their experience
• Assist in pharmacy inventory management and organization
• Follow pharmacy cleanliness and operational standards
• Participate in special projects as needed
Requirements:
• Minimum Grade 12 education or equivalent
• Successful completion of Calgary Co-op Pharmacy Assistant test
• Must be registered with the Alberta College of Pharmacy
• Completion of an accredited Pharmacy Assistant Program preferred
• Two years of dispensing experience ideally suited for candidates
