This Administrative Support IV position is a float role that provides support across multiple clinic functions, including Primary Care Coordination, Medical Office Assistant, reception, and other areas as required. The successful candidate is expected to provide coverage and support where needed throughout the clinic, requiring a high degree of flexibility, adaptability, and the ability to respond effectively to last-minute changes in staffing and operational needs while maintaining excellent service and workflow continuity.

Responsibilities include panel management, scheduling appointments for physicians and the Allied Health Team, generating reports to support clinic objectives, rooming patients, scanning and faxing documents. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage frequent interruptions and shifting priorities are essential. This position may also participate in clinic, department, and Primary Care Network committees, initiatives, and research projects, contributing to continuous quality improvement and the delivery of high-quality patient care.

Some post-secondary education.

Required Qualifications:

Completion of post-secondary education in medical office assistant (MOA).MOA Certificate required.
3 - 5 years of recent Primary Care Coordinator, MOA and reception experience in a Primary Care Clinic.
3 - 5 years of recent experience with Med Access Electronic Health Record (EHR), Netcare and Right fax.

Ability to work Day and Evening shifts.

Ability to assist with patient mobility transfers.

Able to lift > 40 lbs.

Able to sit/stand for extended periods of time. Handling, moving, and lifting heavy or awkward equipment and/or individuals.

Current BLS.Ability to work with multiple, changing priorities, and effectively manage time.

Demonstrated ability to work in a high intensity environment.

Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office (specifically Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).Strong work ethic, self-motivated, innovative and ability to work independently.

Ability to effect change, support change management.

Exceptional attention to detail.

Ability to contribute to a positive work environment.

Demonstrate communication, problem solving, and organizational skills.

Ability to maintain confidentiality with all aspects of information in accordance with practice, Provincial and Federal regulations.

Knowledge of Primary Care Networks (PCN's).Excellent communication skills in both verbal and writing with Physicians/Learners/Clinic Staff/Allied Health Team.

Participate in clinic, department and PCN research projects and committees.
