Join the Calgary Drop-In Centre as a Primary Care Paramedic and provide vital healthcare to marginalized individuals.

The DI is hiring for a casual Primary Care Paramedic to support its Urban Response department. As part of a focused team, you will deliver episodic medical care and respond to urgent health needs among vulnerable community members. Your efforts will directly influence health outcomes and foster a supportive environment for those in need.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assess and manage urgent health concerns
• Develop and adapt individualized care plans
• Keep detailed records in Electronic Medical Records (EMR)
• Conduct educational sessions on wellness and preventive care
• Collaborate across DI teams to enhance service delivery
Requirements:
• Accredited Primary Care Paramedic program completion
• Good standing registration with the Alberta College
• Professional Liability Insurance proof required
• CPR certification or intent to obtain
• Strong understanding of addiction and mental health issues
