As a key member of the Age Care Walden Heights team, the Physiotherapy Aide supports both residents and healthcare professionals in assessing and implementing therapy interventions. The successful candidate will monitor resident participation, maintain equipment inventory, and assist with housekeeping duties for therapeutic areas. A compassionate approach to care is essential in this role.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist Healthcare Professionals in therapy interventions
• Monitor resident participation and abilities during sessions
• Maintain inventory of therapy equipment and supplies
• Ensure equipment repairs or modifications are completed
• Uphold infection control standards in treatment areas
Requirements:
• Post-secondary education is an asset
• Fluency in English, both spoken and written
• Completion of a Rehabilitation Therapist Diploma
• Strong communication skills for diverse populations
• Compassionate care approach towards seniors
