Casual Night Health Care Aide

Become a valued member of the care team at Age Care Shawnee as a Casual Night Health Care Aide in Calgary, Alberta. You'll provide essential care services and support seniors in a compassionate environment.

Leveraging your skills and experience, you will assist with the personal care and comfort of residents under the supervision of a Licensed Practical Nurse. This part-time night position requires dedication and a strong commitment to promoting resident well-being through safe and effective care practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Bathe, shower, and wash residents for personal comfort

• Transfer residents safely using appropriate lifting equipment

• Assist with feeding and provide routine treatments

• Support residents during mobility and social activities

• Accompany residents to therapy functions and appointments

Requirements:

• One year experience in continuing care preferred

• Completion of recognized Personal Care Aide Certificate

• Active registration with the CLHA

• Strong English communication skills, both spoken and written

• Commitment to maintaining a respectful and compassionate care environment
