As a Primary Care Paramedic at the DI, you'll assist in delivering compassionate, trauma-informed care within the Urban Response program. This position requires a combination of clinical expertise and a commitment to serving those with multifaceted health challenges. Collaborating with a dedicated team, your work will support streamlined care pathways for vulnerable groups.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver comprehensive primary care assessments
• Create and implement individualized care strategies
• Maintain accurate documentation for compliance
• Provide crisis intervention and stabilization care
• Build collaborative relationships across teams
Requirements:
• Completion of accredited Primary Care Paramedic program
• Registration with the Alberta College in good standing
• Valid Professional Liability Insurance
• CPR certification within 90 days of employment
• Knowledge of trauma-informed care principles
