The Dietitian I role supports Alberta Health Services' Calgary Adult Bariatric Surgery Program at Richmond Road Diagnostic and Treatment Centre. The role covers the full nutrition-care cycle, from assessment through evaluation. The dietitian develops care plans, implements them with clients, and evaluates their progress while managing competing clinical priorities.

The College of Dietitians of Alberta registration requirement applies alongside the academic and practical training requirements.
