As a key member of the care team at the Bow River Seniors Lodge, you will work directly with residents to implement innovative leisure activities.
Your role is critical in fostering an encouraging and supportive environment that promotes social interaction and personal growth.
Key Responsibilities:
• Carry out established recreation programs for residents
• Collaborate with therapists to develop new activities
• Maintain and store recreational equipment safely
• Support residents in participating actively in community events
• Document and maintain records according to policy
Requirements:
• Grade 12 Diploma and Certificate in Recreation Studies
• 1 year experience in a related field of seniors care
• Current Standard First Aid and CPR Level C
• Clear Criminal Record and Vulnerable Sector Checks
• Physically able to lift 25 kilograms and move frequently
