As a casual Health Care Aide at the George Boyack Complex Continuing Care facility, you will play a crucial role in our mission to deliver quality care. Collaborate with interprofessional teams to monitor client status and ensure all changes are communicated to nursing staff. Additionally, you will be responsible for administering medications in compliance with established policies.
Key Responsibilities:
• Observe and report on client conditions and changes
• Administer medications accurately according to protocols
• Uphold professional and ethical standards in care
• Support lifting and transferring of clients
• Carry out additional duties as needed
Requirements:
• High School Diploma or equivalent degree
• Completion of recognized Health Care Aide program
• Current registration with CLHA
• Strong English communication skills
• Experience in health care settings preferred
