In this dynamic role, you will provide both primary and emergency care primarily in clinic environments. Collaborating closely with healthcare professionals, manage walk-in patients and implement care plans based on Best Practice Clinical Guidelines. Your ability to think critically and work independently will be essential in this unique northern setting.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide clinic-based primary and emergency care
• Implement health promotion and care plans
• Handle urgent walk-in patients efficiently
• Respond to emergencies in absence of ER services
• Operate independently in resource-limited conditions
Requirements:
• Diploma from an accredited Paramedic Program
• Current paramedic registration in Manitoba
• 1,950 hours of relevant primary care experience
• Willingness to work independently
• Strong problem-solving skills under pressure
