AgeCare Health Care Aide Position

Age Care is seeking a dedicated Health Care Aide to join our team in Chestermere. Deliver essential care services that enhance our residents' quality of life.

As a Health Care Aide, you will work under the supervision of a Licensed Practical Nurse.

Your role is crucial in providing residents with support for personal care, nutrition, and mobility. You will also engage them in activities, fostering a sense of community and belonging within the Age Care environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide personal care including baths and hygiene support

• Assist with meal feeding per individualized care plans

• Use mechanical lifts for resident transfers as needed

• Help residents attend recreational and social events

• Provide treatments and assist with daily wellness protocols

Requirements:

• One year experience in a care or relevant environment preferred

• HCA/PCA certificate completion required

• Active registration with CLHA is necessary

• Must communicate effectively in English

• Post-secondary education can be beneficial
