Position: AgeCare Dawson Health Care Aide Role
Transform lives as a Health Care Aide at Age Care Dawson in Chestermere, Alberta. The role is focused on delivering essential care and fostering well-being among our residents.

As a temporary part-time Health Care Aide, you will play a crucial role in a collaborative care team, working under a Licensed Practical Nurse. Your responsibilities include assisting with personal care, mobility, and nutrition, ensuring that each resident's dignity and comfort are prioritized. This is an excellent opportunity to make a direct impact in a supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide bathing and personal hygiene assistance to residents

• Aid with safe transfers in and out of beds or chairs

• Support residents during mealtime, based on diet plans

• Apply routine treatments as specified by nursing staff

• Escort residents to recreational and therapy events

Requirements:

• Minimum one year of experience in a care environment preferred

• Completion of PCA/HCA recognized course necessary

• Active CLHA registration required

• Fluency in English, both orally and in writing

• Additional education is an asset
