As part of the food services team, you will focus on comprehensive nutrition support for residents. This role involves assessing individual nutritional needs, collaborating effectively with healthcare teams, and ensuring proper documentation of care plans. Your expertise in modified diets will play a crucial role in promoting resident safety.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assess and plan nutrition care focusing on quality of life
• Document care plans and updates accurately
• Engage in clinical assessments for resident evaluations
• Collaborate with Food Services to optimize meal programs
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition from an accredited school
• Dietetic Internship completion
• Valid registration with the relevant provincial body
• Strong leadership and time management skills
• Familiarity with dysphagia management is a plus
