As a part-time therapist, you will collaborate with a dedicated team, addressing the unique needs of children and their families. This role emphasizes the application of the Hakomi Method to foster understanding and growth within the school, home, and community contexts.
Key Responsibilities:
• Work with multidisciplinary teams to support program goals
• Assist families in overcoming parenting challenges
• Track and document client progress and therapeutic interventions
• Provide advocacy and follow-up with service providers
• Integrate mindfulness techniques into therapy sessions
Requirements:
• Master’s degree in Psychology and registration with the College
• Knowledge of the Canadian Code of Ethics for Psychologists
• Experience using Hakomi principles with special needs children
• Solid communication skills and reliable transportation
• Professional liability insurance required
