Assist patients in Calgary with upper extremity recovery as a Hand Physiotherapist with Group
23 Sports Medicine. Emphasize your expertise in rehabilitating injuries and enhancing athletic performance through tailored treatment plans.
As a Registered Physiotherapist in this specialized role, you will collaborate within a multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality hand therapy. You will be responsible for assessing injuries, developing treatment regimens, and maintaining a focus on patient-centered care.
Your role will include caseload management through an established Hand Therapy program.
Key Responsibilities:
• Evaluate and treat musculoskeletal injuries of the hand and arm
• Develop individualized and evidence-based treatment plans
• Create essential custom splints tailored to patient needs
• Implement various therapeutic modalities, including IMS/acupuncture
• Document patient progress and treatment outcomes precisely
Requirements:
• Master’s degree in Physiotherapy (Canadian equivalent)
• Certified Hand Therapist designation or actively pursuing it
• Registered Physiotherapist in good standing with Alberta
• Clinical expertise in sports medicine or hand therapy
• Experience with electronic health record documentation
