In this professional position, you will report to the Director of Privacy and collaborate with various units to create specific privacy impact assessments. Your responsibilities will include providing strategic privacy guidance and assessing risks for new initiatives, ensuring compliance with Alberta's Health Information Act and other regulations. Key Responsibilities:
• Provide privacy guidance to key organizational stakeholders
• Conduct privacy impact assessments for new business initiatives
• Assess compliance with Alberta's privacy legislation
• Identify best practices for information safeguards
• Collaborate with departments to align with HSS strategies
Requirements:
• Minimum 5 years of privacy impact assessment experience
• Knowledge of HIA, ATIA, and POPA
• Post-secondary degree in related field required
• Skills in legal research, analysis, and auditing practices
• Proven ability in effective communication and problem-solving
