As a Laboratory Assistant, you will be tasked with various sample preparations, calibrating equipment, and maintaining lab cleanliness. Your attention to detail will support our quality control procedures, ensuring precise data processing. Operate essential lab instruments and assist in monitoring controlled equipment for optimal functionality.
Key Responsibilities:
• Generate worklists and retrieve samples from storage
• Prepare samples through extraction and analysis processes
• Operate lab instruments like pipettes and centrifuges
• Maintain thorough documentation and record-keeping
• Perform quality control procedures consistently
Requirements:
• High School Diploma or equivalent needed
• Organized, detail-oriented, and motivated
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Previous lab experience considered an asset
• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs and stand for long periods
