Located in central SW Calgary, WELL Health Diagnostic Centres is looking for a Medical Office Assistant to assist physicians and deliver excellent patient experiences. This role requires strong organizational, interpersonal skills, and the ability to work effectively both independently and with others. You will be a key part of a collaborative team dedicated to high standards of patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
• Greet patients promptly and professionally upon arrival
• Confirm and update patient demographics in the EMR system
• Communicate effectively with physicians and team members
• Oversee patient waiting areas and report medical distress
• Enter finalized reports in the EMR system accurately
Requirements:
• 0-2 years of experience in a medical office
• Current CPR certificate or AED knowledge preferred
• Exceptional organizational and interpersonal abilities
• Commitment to ongoing education and training
• Positive attitude and ability to work well in teams
