As a Pharmacy Assistant, you will help meet patients’ health needs while supporting daily pharmacy operations. Your work includes prescription assembly, refill requests, pill pack assembly, and clinical service scheduling. Attention to detail, multitasking, and independent work are important for this position.
Key Responsibilities:- Assemble prescriptions and complete prescription data entry
- Process customer transactions and release prescriptions
- Receive refill requests and record deliveries
- Complete compounding and pill pack assembly
- Schedule professional clinical pharmacy services
- Pharmacy Assistant Diploma preferred from a recognized post-secondary institute
- Previous pharmacy experience considered an asset
- Excellent attention to detail in pharmacy tasks
- Ability to multitask and work independently
- Ability to follow applicable company standards
