About Staffing works with a number of companies across Calgary that require top-notch temporary, casual, part time and permanent Construction Workers. These opportunities range from entry level and skilled to ticketed and journeyman level.
If you are looking for work and keen to commit to casual contracts where you get paid weekly (direct deposit – NO cash), apply today! There are tons of great opportunities to stay busy and bring in a competitive wage.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Working on variety of sites including new home builds, renovations, demolition, etc.
The key job functions are:
- General Labour – Lifting >50lbs
- Janitorial – Cleaning, organizing, sweeping, etc.
- Carpentry/Framing – Reading blueprints, framing new home builds/renovation projects
- Concrete – Support with pouring, mixing, and tearing up of concrete
- Demolition – Tearing down walls, etc.
- Site Clean Up – Removing materials post demolition, walking to dumpsters, etc.
Education:
- High School or Equivalent (asset)
Qualifications:
- Hard working
- Reliable
- Committed
- Team player
- Strong communication skills
- Driver’s license and reliable vehicle (HUGE ASSET – Some sites are NOT transit accessible)
Experience:
- Entry level roles available –No experience required!
- Carpentry/framing experience preferred (asset)
- Electrical experience preferred (asset)
Base Salary:Varies depending on assignment (approx. $18-30/hr)
Work Hours:
- Work hours will vary depending on the assignment details and employers’ needs. This information will be confirmed at the time of your interview or offering of assignment(s).
Additional Notes:
- This opportunity does not include relocation. It will be the responsibility of the candidate should relocation be required.
