Senior HR Business Partner Consultant

Position: Senior HR Business Partner Consultant Role
Become a pivotal HR Business Partner Consultant at Canadian Tire Corporation, offering strategic support for a large retail workforce. Focus on employee relations and effective conflict management within a dynamic retail environment.

In this position, you will advise and assist District and Store Managers on HR best practices regarding corrective actions, performance management, and employee issues. You will also provide mediation for workplace conflicts and lead non-medical accommodation requests, drawing from your extensive HR background to recommend actions that enhance employee well-being.

Key Responsibilities:

• Mediate conflicts to promote workplace harmony

• Coach managers on individual employee issues and corrective actions

• Review and assist with accommodation requests for well-being

• Leverage HR knowledge to support diverse employee populations

• Conduct workplace investigations and inquiries as necessary

Requirements:

• Over 5 years of HR experience focused on employee relations

• Strong grasp of HR legislation and practices

• Ability to build relationships across diverse teams

• Experience with HRMS systems;
Workday knowledge is a plus

• Superior communication and judgment skills
